Set up your twin.

Everything between downloading the app and your twin holding a phone call in your voice. Start at the top; the deeper pieces (voice, Gmail, how it remembers you) each stand alone.

  • 01 · What Twinly is

Twinly is a clone of you that lives on your Mac or Windows PC: it texts, emails, manages your calendar, works your apps, and holds real phone calls in your voice. The AI engine is included: start free with 5 tasks a day.

  • 02 · Install & first launch

Download Twinly for Mac or Windows, open it, and let the guided one-click setup walk you through everything. No terminal, no developer tools, about five minutes.

  • 03 · Powering your twin

Give your twin a brain: sign in and run on Twinly's managed engine. Start free with 5 tasks a day; plans from $20 a month raise the daily and weekly limits. Older beta builds bring their own provider key.

  • 04 · Permissions

Every macOS permission Twinly needs and why, in plain English, with exact System Settings paths. Use the one-click Set everything up in the Access tab, and the note on re-granting once after an app update.

  • 05 · Voice & calls

Give your twin your voice with the on-device Twinly Voice clone, add a top-tier Cartesia or ElevenLabs key if you want, install BlackHole for call audio, and let the twin hold real phone calls as you.

  • 06 · Email (Gmail)

Connect Gmail with a Google App Password (2-Step Verification required) so your twin can send, read, search, and stay aware of new mail. What it unlocks, how to set it up, and what stays private.

  • 07 · How Twinly executes

Why Twinly is more reliable and cheaper than a chatbot: it tries fast, deterministic layers first (recipes, learned pathways, on-screen targeting, closed-loop verification) and only spends an AI run on the genuinely new, while continuously learning you.

  • 08 · How Twinly remembers you

Twinly's permanent memory, learned pathways, anticipation, and failure memory, explained for a user: what it learns, that it never forgets, how you stay in control, and how to reset it.

  • 09 · Privacy & security

What stays on your device, what the approval gate protects, what Twinly will never do on its own, and how to pause the twin instantly. The trust model in plain terms.

  • 10 · Troubleshooting

Fixes for the common snags: a permission that needs re-toggling, a robotic voice, a website task that fails, a silent call, and Gmail that won't connect.
