Twinly builds a durable model of how its owner writes and what they prefer, and keeps it on the machine. It learns from corrections most of all: telling it "never open with Hope you're well" once is a standing rule from then on, not a preference that evaporates when the conversation ends.
The practical test is whether a draft needs rewriting before it can go out. Generic assistant prose always does.
Nothing sends without you
Sending is a committing action, so it is held. You see the recipient, the subject, and the body as it will arrive, and approve or reject it. This cannot be configured away — the gate is the product.
Every one of those decisions is written to a local, tamper-evident audit log, so there is always an accurate record of what was sent and what was approved.
